Who's Who

NurturePA, Inc. parents are parents who enroll in our program for support. Currently, new moms who deliver at select hospital birthing centers in Allegheny County are able to enroll in the program while they are in the hospital following the birth of their baby.

NurturePA, Inc. mentors are parents who volunteer their time to serve as a support network and resource for the parents who are enrolled in the program. In addition to being parents, mentors also have a background or experience in early childhood education, early intervention, social work, psychology, education, or a related field.

NurturePA, Inc. supervisors are responsible for enrolling new moms in the program during their hospital stay. In addition, supervisors oversee the mentors to ensure they are successfully fulfilling their role in supporting parents.

NurturePA, Inc. managers oversee the day-to-day operation of NurturePA, Inc. In addition, managers are responsible for mentor recruitment and training. Managers also oversee the supervisors to ensure the nurture® program is successfully implemented at all levels.
